Waiting for the sun

This is George Washington's Grist Mill, which is located just down the road from his home in Alexandria, VA. Visitors can step back in time and watch the mill's gears turn inside this fully reconstructed site. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it's a nice place to have a snack and watch local creatures along Dogue Creek behind the mill.
