Wake up the Crab-eating fox, start his routine
The sun sinks in the flat horizon of Los Llanos Orientales, Casanare - Colombia. The hour of activity begins in the daily life of the Crab-eating fox (Cerdocyon thous). It seems to want to extend its dream a few more minutes and not leave its forest refuge. Reluctantly, it scratches itself, stretches, and starts its silver body walking at a slow pace. It begins one more night in wild territory. The Llanos are a large expanse of flat land in eastern Colombia. Despite the pressures for monocultures and oil extraction, they keep enormous ecological wealth and animal diversity. Due to its great biodiversity and particular savannah landscape, it could seem like a piece of Africa in South America.
