Walking Under Cover
Sunlight streams through the openings of a covered bridge as a lone pedestrian crosses the Hoosic River to the hamlet of Buskirk in upstate New York's Washington County. The region, adjacent to New England, is the home of several traditional covered bridges, many of them, such as this one, still in active daily use.
