Wall with Notch

The buildings of our everyday are never seen as the architect intended. They are placed within a landscape that obscures, hides and even eclipses them. With our heads down, moving quickly, to get to wherever it is we’re going, we might only see a single detail. A concrete wall with a notch, framed perfectly by two shadows. It isn’t what the architect intended, but it is what is noticed.
