I took this photograph in Great Sand Dunes National Park and I think for many reasons this park impressed me most during my last trip. It's about travel and sense of freedom it has. I was watching people happy, free from everyday routine heading for an adventure. Maybe it's the open space and once you climb the dunes you are closer to the stars, maybe it's the ability to combine modern lifestyle with nature, including activities like sandboarding or sand sledding.
