Wandering through a coconut grove on Kauai

The coconut tree is considered both symbolic and sacred in Polynesian culture. The woman in the photograph is walking through a coconut grove on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i. She represents Hina, the Tahitian moon goddess whose lover's body was said to have created coconuts.
