Water Lillies on a Foggy Morning II
A friend in nearby Zionsville had been telling me all summer about a retention pond in a CVS parking lot that had beautiful Water Lillies that I should photograph. By September, I was afraid that I had missed my opportunity, but then I saw a picture of Water Lillies in the fog, and I wanted to see what I could do. Foggy mornings are pretty common in Indiana in late summer, so I got up before dawn and drove 45 minutes to Zionsville for a sunrise photo shoot in the fog. The fountain in the middle of the pond was an added bonus to get the effect I was trying to achieve!
