Water Strider (Limnoporus notabilis)
They didn't seem worthy of attention, they're common so I ignored them for a long time until one day when I decided to give them a closer look. I was struck by the esthetics of the their reflection on water when I looked at them from a low angle. They move very fast and know when anything is approaching, so I had to stay still for long stretches of time to be able to get this shot.
