Water Tower at Abandoned Medfield State Hospital

Built in 1930, this water tower is located at the now-defunct Medfield State Hospital in Medfield, Massachusetts. Nearly two decades after the hospital's closure, ownership of the tower was transferred to the town of Medfield in 2014 in an effort to improve the town's water supply. What makes the image interesting is that the water tower is a pristine beacon in an area of abandoned buildings and debris.
