Waterfowls on a peaceful morning
This image was taken at the Bird Viewing Preserve, which is located within the Water Reclamation Facility in Henderson, NV. It was early in the morning, and most of the waterfowls were still sleeping, which resulted in the stillness and mirror-like reflection on the pond. Sustainable travel in this environment means to not feed the birds and wildlife. Migratory birds stop here as part of the Pacific Migratory Flyway; feeding them disrupts their natural feeding behaviors. Human beings should admire and live in harmony with nature’s wildlife.
