14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Waterline, Kingcome Inlet, BC
I am fascinated by the many close tonalities found within nature. In this case, what caught my eye was the various shades of green found within a frame that included lush coastal boreal rainforest and glacial meltwater from nearby Kingcome Glacier which feeds this entire bay and ecosystem.
