Wave Crashing on the Oregon Coast
A storm and king tide arrive to the Oregon Coast bringing with it giant swells. The swells complete their long journey from the Pacific Ocean crashing dramatically against Oregon's cliffs. Chunks of rock can be seen flying from the waves. The vibration from the crashing waves and deep sounds invited one to stay. I was out here for a few days photographing and just observing the beauty of the storm. It reminded me of my days in the Coast Guard operating motor lifeboats.
