While 50 minutes out from the park entrance, we received a warning about flash floods and heavy rain, and we heard thunder and lightning nearby. The storm followed us as we left, and when we were five minutes from the exit, with the storm quickly following, a rainbow lit the way to the car—a sign we made it to our pot of gold- safety.
