Canan's struggle with metastatic breast cancer started in 2010. It has recurred eight times. She had her ninth surgery with the diagnosis of skull metastasis and is still under treatment. The tumor formed in the skull, was treated, and after successful brain surgery, Canan returned to us. Canan has used modern medicine and her positive attitude toward life in her defeat of cancer every time. She keeps everything negative away and avoids stress by living life as she wishes. Doctors insist that chronic patients should not delay screenings during the pandemic. Canan kept up with her screenings, and the skull metastasis was thus detected early.
