The first time I hiked in Iceland was four years ago, and the highlands were the most beautiful place I saw, so I could not wait to come back. Here, almost like on a stage, two hikers meet with a backdrop of morning light and steam from geothermal vents at Hveradalir, Kerlingarfjöll.
