This was a breathtaking image to see through a viewfinder. It felt like I had traveled back in time 75 years and was watching the Big Boy roll at the height of the war. This is why the narrative of the engine seemed most fittingly told primarily in black and white images. Here, the Big Boy leaves West Chicago after its first and last visit to the historic town.
