This is a panorama of the Milky Way Galaxy taken on the Terlingua Ranch in West Texas. I regularly visit the location to do deep sky astrophotography and while taking long exposures through my telescope and dedicated astrophotography camera, I decided to take a horizon to horizon panorama while waiting. At the bottom of the panorama is my "accomodation"; an old boat in the middle of the desert flying the Jolly Roger, and at the top is my telescope.
