Wet cobblestone streets after dusk
I was heading to my room after picking up my key from the owner at a nearby pasteria in Old Town Warsaw. A light rain earlier in the evening had wetted the cobble stones, making a textured surface reflecting storefront and street lights. Noting that old town had been rebuilt after extensive bombing during WWII, the scene still embodied my sense of "The Old World" on this, my first trip to Europe.
