While walking through Icy Strait Point in Southeast Alaska I looked out into Icy Strait and saw a humpback whale swimming just offshore. I quickly walked toward the water and took the cap off of my camera. The whale spouted then turned over. I focused the camera and captured this image as his fins were above the water.
