The whaleshark is considered by scuba divers to be one of the most revered animals in the underwater world. To be graced a visit by one of these gentle giants is awe-inspiring, exhilarating and completely overwhelming! This was my first encounter in March 2015… my heart was pounding, my breathing began to quicken as I was totally overcome with emotion. Its beauty and grace brought me to to tears… it was love at first sight.
