"What are you looking at?"--Black Vulture

Black Vultures are a much-maligned species, and are often blamed for human-wildlife conflicts. Many of these conflicts result from human neglect and lack of knowledge about living with wildlife. When I stumbled upon a roost site that was regularly used by a large group of Black Vultures I decided to use the opportunity to highlight their unique personalities through photography to help illustrate that while they live in groups, these groups are family groups similar to our own families made up of unique family members.
