What Fun!

This was the first time my California raised grandchildren went sledding in cold, snowy, northern weather. We bought sleds, bundled up and set out for the hill. The learning curve was steep. Stay away from the trees, don't land in the icy water at the bottom of the hill, don't collide with another sled, get a running start to increase speed, take your time trudging back up the hill, stay warm. It was delightful - these gleeful, uninhibited teenagers discovering a new activity and acting like toddlers at Christmas. Pure joy!
