Wheelchair racers in the Marine Corps Marathon

The wheelchair racers in the Marine Corps Marathon can be incredibly inspiring. They lead the race ahead of the runners and many are wounded warriors missing limbs. They are amazing athletes who compete to win or just to finish. Many work as a team drafting the wind for each other. Here is a pair early in the morning along the National Mall with the morning sun still coming up and the long shadows from the trees.
