When Covid Masks Were Works of Art

When Covid-19 was the new kid on the block, it was not uncommon to encounter someone who had made their own set of masks with a wide range of colorful designs, even though at that point few of us knew that the homemade variety of mask was not that effective. Still it was encouraging to see neighbors put so much effort into the cause. Such was the case in my DC neighborhood.
