This pig (Pickles) and all the other animals on this carousel were hand-carved and painted by volunteers to make bring this carousel back to life for the City of Kingsport, Tenn. This was a 5-year project from sending a few people to learn to carve the animals to finish of a working carousel and new addition to the Farmers Market building to house it in! “Kingsport will have a carousel when pigs fly.” and so Pickles the pig flies on top of the ticket booth!
