This photo was taken while backpacking the Lost Coast Trail in California. The Lost Coast is located at the end of route one where the terrain was to rugged to continue the road. This photograph highlights nature being left untouched by man. Backpacking this trail and being off the grid for six days offers a stark contrast to the 3 hour drive back to San Francisco on the heavily traveled and developed route 1.
