18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
When two mountains meet
Following several days of rain, a sunny autumn day brought me to Djupetjønn lake. After one hour of hiking uphill, I finally arrived at this beautiful natural spot. It was not my first time there since I have been exploring the surrounding mountains, almost daily, for ten months.
