Our cross-country trip with dog, Gus-Gus, included a stop at White Sands National Park in New Mexico. All the sand and none of the water, this was Gus-Gus’ dream beach! It was a perfect 70 degrees and with rain threatening and ominous clouds above, there was no other humans in sight. Our mode of transport is dwarfed in the background by the massive amount of soft, white sand dunes everywhere in sight. It was a perfect day.
