Who knew elephants could swim?
We were on a small boat on the Chobe River when we saw this elephant descend from the hills and enter the river. He was followed by a bachelor herd of 10 more elephants and they all swam across the river. It was quite an astonishing sight! They stayed pretty close together in the water, then slowly made their way on to the land, snacking on grasses as they went.
