Whooper Swans of Lake Kussharo
This picture of whooper swans was shot at Lake Kussharo, part of the Akan National Park in Teshikaga, Hokkaido. The lake is on the migratory path of the swans, which definitely make the venue even more popular among visitors, apart from the thermal hotsprings and naturally heated sand on the shore of the lake.
