The wild Buffalo cooling off in muddy waters was seen in the Yala National Park in the south of Sri Lanka. The hot humid weather in the southern part of Sri Lanka makes these animals wade into waterways and lakes to cool off. The flies that hover around them attract birds and usually these animals are seen with birds perched on their bodies picking on the flies and bugs found on their thick hides.
