This Canada Lynx chose a large private property and heavily forested area as her home range. She is a special and unique animal and I'm very lucky that she is comfortable with my presence, they are typically very elusive. By choosing a spot to sit and wait for her, I was able to give her the distance she needed to feel comfortable and she determined where she was going to relax. She would often rest or sleep for hours at a time, occasionally opening her eyes or twitching an ear to signal she was still aware of her surroundings.
