This picture was taken at Lakota Wolf Preserve in 2020. I always have loved wolves and had been trying to get a picture of one looking at the camera without the fences in between us ruining things. This was the moment I finally succeeded. I love the eyes of this particular wolf because it looks like it's trying to understand you as you understand it. I've always been proud of this picture.
