Wild Horses at play in Theodore Roosevelt National Park

I took a photography trip with my mother to Medora, North Dakota to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We woke up every morning at 4:30am to get into the park before sunrise. We were always on the lookout for the wild horses in the park and had many run-ins with the different herds. This particular morning, we caught action between two stallions and watched for about twenty minutes. It was thrilling to feel the power in their hooves when they hit the ground. An incredible sight to bear witness to.
