Wild pony grazing, Assateague Island
The survival of these wild horses on Assateague Island, MD depends not only on their interaction with this thriving barrier island, but human beings, as well. We must respect both the horses as well as their environment and enjoy the beauty of both; but leave as we have come, disturbing as little as possible.
