Wild Stallion Grazing on Underwater Grasses

This shot was taken from a kayak on the Salt River in Arizona. Groups of wild horses carve out territories along the river and graze near and in the water. I have never seen a horse fully submerge its face to graze, let alone blow bubbles as these were doing. If you look closely you can see a dragonfly perched on the rump of this stallion.
