Wildebeest migration across the Mara River

Every year, more than 1.5 million wildebeest migrate on a loop path through Tanzania and Kenya for greener pastures and water. River crossings are an integral and necessary part of wildebeest migration, which exposes them to great risk and vulnerability when they step into the crocodile-infested waters. With so much uncertainties, the herd of wildebeest struggle to find a leader to pave the way until a brave soul takes the first step across, resulting in the rest to follow simultaneously.
