In the last five years, California has experienced the worst fires. In August 2020, lightning caused the SCU Lightning Complex, killing six people, and destroying 1451 structures and 363,220 acres (CAL FIRE). One of the areas that was affected was Solano County. Suisun City was one of the cities that was engulfed in smoke.
