Wildflowers in bloom and rock formations in Northern New Mexico

My daughter and I drove about 90 minutes from Taos, NM to this private property which allows visitors that respect the land. On the way here, stream beds crossing the vaguely marked roads were wet indicating recent rainfall. Some of these dry creeks can turn into torrents and potentially wash away people and cars with very little warning so paying attention to the weather is of extreme importance. For the next 20 minutes or so after the Sun had set, we had this wonderful place to ourselves. We took a few shots before finding our way back.
