It is the portrait of a man, who is 87 years old, and once lived together in a house with six other persons, his wife, their parents, my mother and their two siblings. Now he is alone, but however he does not want to rely on the help of others. The house seems hardly changed after the death of my grandmother. The decor, as well as the interieur, is still the same as it was years ago and reminds us of a time when life was different for him - a life he shared with his wife and all others.
