William Clark's Descendant at Camp Dubois

I had the good fortune to meet and photograph Churchill Clark, a great, great, great, great grandson of Capt. William Clark at a re-construction of Camp Dubois across from the mouth of the Missouri River. He offered to pose for me wearing clothing fitting of the Corps of Discovery in the early 1800s. The window behind him gives me the impression that we are looking back in time. Churchill has descended the Missouri by canoe and is now building and paddling dug-out cottonwood canoes. Capt. William Clark would be proud.
