Wind rippling the water as a black-neck-stilt alights
Bitter Lake is especially known as a refuge for birds. There are at least 350 species of birds that have been recorded on the refuge. This picture shows the beauty of Bitter Lake, the wind on the water, the marshland, and of course the wonder of one bird gliding to a resting place.
