This is a collage image combining two separate street portraits with two separate individuals. One man was searching for aluminum cans to fill in shopping cart, while another was selling colorful belts that were draped over a blue dumpster on Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. I enjoy taking portraits, and sometimes I like to rearrange features and combine faces to create something or someone new, a way to find commonality and essential truth.
