Window To The Soul
Bison jam is common in Yellowstone. As a herd of bison blocked the road in Lamar Valley, we drove slowly through the herd. As the largest mammal in North America, the eyes of the American bison are very gentle to me, gentle enough to reveal more than what is visible on the surface, like a window to a bison’s soul.
