Windy Sunrise

30 minutes prior to sunrise on the Blackfeet Reservation, east of Glacier Montana, the wind was blowing. I hiked up a steep hill to reach an area with white bark pine trees. Typically, these trees are motionless even in 70 mph winds. As the sun began to rise, the sky filled with color and painted a lovely palate with the clouds screaming by. This was a 30 second long exposure which is why the clouds are streaming across the sky. It was all I could do to lie flat on the ground and not be blown away with the wind.
