Wayne Henderson is one of the best acoustic guitar makers in the world and yet he still builds them from his shop in rural Rugby, Virginia, in Grayson County. In 2024, he hosted his last-ever Wayne Henderson Guitar Festival at the beautiful Grayson Highlands State Park as he and his team ended the run after 30 great years. The last person to ever win the Wayne Henderson Guitar Competition was Jeff Sobel and in this photo, Jeff is receiving the Grand Prize, which was a new Henderson guitar.
