Winter Coat
An Arctic fox walks slowly over the snow-covered ground in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, its nose low to the ground. The fox’s white coat blends into its snowy surroundings. Unlike other canids, an Arctic fox’s coat changes color seasonally, from brown or gray in the summer to snow white in the winter. Photographed in 2025.
