I passed this spot every single morning on my way to work. The way the sun came up and made the steam come off the water, I desperately wanted to capture that scene. The first available weekend I had I got up early and went to the spot. It was so cold. Not 10 minutes into shooting I couldn't feel my fingers - it was so worth it. That morning was so peaceful and calming and the pictures came out great. It was my first time to really experiment with long exposure and I was really pleased with the way they came out!
