City life has its own kind of wildlife. In Southern California, we have squirrels, opossums, coyotes, and all kinds of wonderful birds. Walking through my Santa Monica neighborhood, I stopped to watch some very loud ravens squawk it out. Crows and ravens are a rowdy bunch, and I suspect the hoopla centered on the nut in the victor's mouth.
