Wise Old Owl
This Great Horned Owl is one of a few that I have seen on various hikes through the Red River National Wildlife Refuge. Most of the time I have seen them very early and generally in very low light. Fortunately, this one had decided to stay around his perch until a bit later in the morning which provided a much better opportunity to capture the beauty of this elusive bird.
